Barmera Golf Club is one of the Riverland's most prestigious golf courses. Situated in the heart of Barmera, the Golf Club offers members and visitors the chance to play a challenging, yet fun golf course. The club has recently received the Golf SA Club of the Year Award for 2022.

Situated just 2 and a half hours from Adelaide, Barmera Golf Course is a par 72, eighteen hole course with pristine fairways and exceptionally good greens. We're the only golf course in the Riverland that is situated in the centre of town offering modern accommodation, convenience and activities at your doorstep.

The course layout is challenging with a number of holes that stand out as being significant. We welcome players of all abilities and ages.

Green fees 18 holes - $45 Discount available upon request for large groups of 16+
Green fees 9 holes - $25
Fees can be paid in the clubhouse or at green fee window via terminal using tap & pay method.

Junior & Adult Coaching

Jamie Clutterham is a certified PGA Professional located and based in the Riverland, South Australia.Jamie’s coaching philosophy is “working with each individual” – to best understand where you are in your golfing journey. This includes your skill level, your physical capabilities, how your equipment affects your performance and your golfing goals all matched with appropriate coaching instruction, drills, exercises, and practice loads to suit your available time for practice & play.
Jamie operates out of the Riverland at the Berri, Barmera and Loxton Golf Clubs.

A warm up Stableford comp will be played on Friday and then golfers will compete in the 36 hole Open Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
Joined us as well for a great Country Style Dinner on Saturday night.

The 2025
Spring Classic
was held on
7th, 8th & 9th November
The event commenced with a large field for 4BBB on Friday and progressed to the primary Saturday Stroke round event. The five best off stick golfers then competed in an exciting Skins playoff.
The Saturday night dinner was a highlight, and backed up by the shotgun start Stableford on the Sunday.

Coaching

The club has two local members who provide coaching instruction for beginners and golfers new to the game.
We also have the services of Jamie Clutterham, PGA Golf Professional, who resides in the Riverland for coaching of individuals, groups and in the junior program of the Riverland Golf Association. He is also available for repairs and club fitting. For more information visit the JCGolf website here.

Clubhouse Events and Functions

Join us for a drink after your round of golf in our modern and well appointed clubhouse. With views out to Lake Bonney it is the perfect place to relax and watch players finish their round on the 18th.

We have a great selection of beers on tap, local wine and soft drink. There's also a range of snack food available for purchase.
Our facilities have recently been renovated by an acclaimed interior designer to maximise everything our unique venue has to offer. The clubhouse has a capacity of up to 150 people and frequently hosts milestone events, weddings, conferences and dinner functions for many golfing and community groups. The facility has modern audio visual equipment and a full commercial kitchen.
