Regular Club Competitions
The Barmera Golf Club holds regular weekly competitions over both Winter and Summer for Men and Women players and visitors are invited to participate.
A Stableford comp is played every Wednesday with both Men and Women participating.
The Women's Competition Day is held on Thursday mornings commencing at 9am (Earlier in Summer) with a variety of comps played according to an event Program.
Saturday is the major competition day of the week, with our program including Stroke, Stableford, Par, Ambrose, Pinehurst and novelty comps. A variety of these competitions are also available on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Monthly Medal Round - Privilege Cup - Men only
The Monthly Medal round is a Stroke Competition held on the first Saturday of each month in conjunction with our major sponsors. The winner of the comp is entitled to hold the Privilege Cup up to the completion of the next round.

Joyce Applegarth Memorial Trophy – Women Only
This event is open to all Full Members categories. 4 Par rounds with a minimum of 3 rounds to be played, on one of the scheduled days of each round. Best 3 rounds. In the event of a tie, count back system will apply.

The event is open to all Full Member categories. This is over 4 rounds, using Stableford points. The best 3 of 4 rounds.

Brian Frost Trophy - Handicap Matchplay Championship - Men Only
This Championship is open to all Full Member categories. The top eight qualifiers are selected from the net scores of two stroke qualifying rounds. These players then play Handicap Matchplay in Quarter, Semi and Finals by the programmed dates.
Failure to complete matches by the set dates will be subject to disqualification at the discretion of the Captain or Captain's committee.

Club Championships - Men
The Barmera Club Champion will be honoured with the Perpetual Roger Barbour Memorial Barmera Golf Club Cup.

- The Championship is open to all Full Member categories.
- There are five rounds designated for qualifying. The best two rounds for any player are used as the qualifying rounds. (7th June, 8th June, 5th July, 6th July, 19th July)
- The top eight gross scores after the two qualifying rounds WILL contest the club championship irrespective of the grade of the player.
- After the top eight qualified players for the championship have been identified, then the next eight qualifiers in their respective grades, will contest those grade championships.
- In the event of a tie for the final placings in each grade, the method of matching score cards, will take place to determine the rankings and qualification of a player in a grade. This is done on a countback basis of the best score over the last nine holes, if not, the last six holes, the last three holes, and finally the 18th hole.
- Championship finals will be played over 27 holes in B,C and D grades, while the Club Championship will be played over 36 holes.
Club Championships - Women
Conditions of play and entries relating to the Championships will be posted on the Notice Board prior to the commencement of the Championships.
The Vice-President's Trophy will be awarded for the best nett total score of qualifying rounds.

At the conclusion of finals in both the Mens and Women's Championships, a presentation dinner will be held in the Club House.
