Larry Fragomeni has been a continual member of the Barmera Golf Club since about 1975. He can remember when there were only two greens on the course and recalls when the others were planted in 1975 and 1976.
He loves golf and often is seen on the practice fairway. If not there, he is playing a couple of times a week. Wednesday is his day. Teeing off around 9am with his mates is something Larry really looks forward to.
Larry does heaps around the course. Mowing is one task but laying the foundations and pipes for the dual watering system on some fairways was a big job Larry took part in.
Larry has had two holes in one. You can see the record of one on our board. The other was only seen by his partner on the 11th during a practice round.
With 41 points recently, his 19 handicap might be in jeopardy.
The club thanks Larry for his work around the course and wishes him well over this season
